With Tanz-Africa Adventures, on this 7-day camping safari you will explore the Tarangire National Park with its huge elephant herds, the diverse landscapes of Lake Manyara National Park, Lake Eyasi home for ‘Hadzabe’ (hunter-gatherer Bushmen), and the Ngorongoro Crater, the World largest Caldera a collapsed volcano filled with wild animals. The World Heritage Site and also known as “the African Eden”.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL ARUSHA TANZANIA

Arrive in Tanzania at the Kilimanjaro International airport where you will met with Tanz-Africa Adventures guide. Then transfer to Arusha for dinner and overnight at Planet lodge.

DAY 2: ARUSHA-TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Time: 2½ hours
Distance: 140 km

After breakfast at the lodge, picked up with packed lunch and drive to Tarangire national park for game drive, this park known for its big concentration of Elephants per square kilometer and also the magnificent combination of Baobab and Acacia trees which make the unique landscape. You can able to see the big cats Lions, Leopards and Cheetahs; you will also see zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes and many other species of antelopes. The park is the paradise for bird’s watcher due to its habitats

Evening drive to Simba campsite for dinner and overnight

DAY 3: TARANGIRE FULL GAME DRIVE

After breakfast at the lodge, with packed lunch drive to Tarangire for a full day game viewing. In this long day you can be able to cover the big area of the Park which will give you more chance to see the Big Cats and this can make the great experience of your life time.

DAY 4: TARANGIRE – LAKE MANYARA

Time: 1hours
Distance: 70 km

After breakfast at we leave Tarangire National Park with parked lunch and drive for 1 hour to Lake Manyara National Park.

Lake Manyara National Park is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park) at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. The park’s varied habitat attracts a wide variety of African animals, including elephants, Giraffes, Hippos, Buffalos, and many other animals without forgetting the unique feature of tree climbing lions, as well as large flocks of flamingos, attracted by the algae in the lake.

DAY 5: LAKE EYASI

Time: 2½ hours
Distance: 110 km

After early cup of coffee, with parked breakfast drive to Bushmen ‘Hadzabe’ area. This morning you will be introduced to the extraordinary people who belong to an indigenous tribe known as the ‘Hadzabe’ (hunter-gatherer Bushmen). Then after you will have luck to participate with them in local hunting with bow arrow. After hunt it will be a good time for you to enjoy your bush breakfast. Lake Eyasi is a very scenic soda lake found on the southern border of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This less visited lake lies at the base of the Eyasi escarpment on the western rift valley wall. The tribe inhabits the lake shores. After breakfast short drive to visit the Nilotic-speaking Datoga tribe who deals with animal keeping and iron smith. There is very good time for you to learn and participate in local activities around their villages include iron meting and grind maize by use stone and many other activities. Then drive back to the lodge for rest and waiting for hot lunch. Lake Eyasi area is the best for onion growing in East Africa, so after lunch you will head to onion plantations and this will be end of your extraordinary life experience. Evening drive to the camp.

DAY 6: NGORONGORO CRATER

After Breakfast it’s time for the famous Ngorongoro Crater. It’s about 15minuts drive from the lodge to the entrance of the Ngorongoro Conservation area. From there enjoy the magnificent tropical forest on your way to Crater view point, where you will witness one of the beautiful landscape in the world. The crater is the World largest Caldera and also Known as the “African Eden” also is the world heritage site. The crater floor is home to the largest population of mammals and you can spot the big 5 here on a relatively small area just stunning. After lunch you will be brought to the Campsite;

DAY 7: NGORONGORO CRATER TO ARUSHA

After breakfast drive back to Arusha town for overnight at Lodge/Hotel or transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
